Ahhh...senior prom...such lovely memories....What's that you say? My date? He looks strange??? Well! I won't have you insulting my prom date! Yes, I did go to the prom with an elf named Legolas Greenleaf. YES, I DID!!!! Meh! :::sticks out tongue::: Fine, then. Maybe I am a little too obsessive....

My name is Amanda and I'm 18 years old. I'm currently a freshman at a local community college. I plan to do my first two years of study here and then transfer to Millersville University for my junior and senior years. Officially, I'm an English major, but I've had a change of heart and decided to major in Elementary Education. Actually, I've decided that I really enjoyed all the work I've done with children and the babysitting, and sadly, I look forward to the day when I've got 2 or 3 of my own little spoiled monsters running around. Until then, I'll fulfill my maternal instinct by teaching little kids. ;-)

When I'm not at class, I'm either working at Kohl's ("Would you like to open a Kohl's charge?") or sleeping. Or eating....Okay, I do more than THAT! I like to play piano and guitar, read (anything I can get my hands on, magazines, books, classics, plays), write stories and fanfic and screenplays (my dream is to be a successful novelist and screenwriter), and just hang out with friends (whom I don't see very often cuz they all went away to college and left me behind! WAH!!!).

My personality is....um...."UNIQUE." I'm really a nice, caring person, but I'm a little shy when I first meet someone. I can be a little crazy at times and I'm definitely classifiable as neurotic. I'm a totaly clutz (I nearly tripped over my own foot twice yesterday. Not just once, but TWICE!!! And both times were inside of 30 seconds!!!) Yeah, I'm definitely a big dork. I snort when I laugh, and I find really corny jokes and puns hysterical. Needless to say, I get a lot of weird looks...
